If you make music with under 5's and their families...
...then The Family Music Hub is your home for resources, training, support and community.
Perhaps you're leading:
- A 10 minute sing-song at the end of a stay and play or playgroup
- A 'Rhyme time' in a local library
- Dedicated music sessions in a family hub or children's centre
- Home visits by health visitors / other family workers
- Music in healthcare or perinatal mental health settings
- Pre-school or nursery family engagement
- ...or something else entirely!
If so, we've created an online hub that will:
💥 Save you time, giving you the practical resources you really need (no more scrolling, no more wading through YouTube!)
💥 Value you, and support you in your vital work with families
💥 Offer practical support and skills, delivered by an experienced and respected team
💥 Inspire and inform you with training and research
💥 Connect you to a community of other group leaders
... all for less than £2 a week!
What's in the hub?
The hub is here to support, equip, and connect a whole range of group leaders, in a supportive community of practice. It is accessible across devices - desktops, tablets and smartphones.
Here's what you'll find inside the hub each term!
The hub refreshes every term with brand new resources, training, and a new schedule of virtual events and meet-ups.
For less than £2 a week you will:

About The Family Music Hub
The Family Music Hub is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2021, by early childhood musicians, researchers and consultants Nicola Burke, Katie Neilson and Rosie Adediran.
💥 We support anyone who includes music in their work with children under five and their families.
💥 Our goal is simple: to help these leaders to maximise the benefits of family music making in their communities.
💥 We do this by offering high quality training, support and resources to this amazing workforce!
The team
Meet the team behind the hub - your trainers Nicola, Rosie and Katie - and communications lead, Eleanor.
Don't just take our word for it.
Here are some group leaders from Central Bedfordshire sharing how our training has impacted them and their teams.
When I came to the sessions I felt part of a team again so thank you.
- online training participant
I found it useful understanding some of the theory behind the actual singing as well as collecting great ideas for activities.
- online training participant
This training has been the most comprehensive music training I have had.
- in-person training participant
